- I'm a meat hauler and have frequented them plants. If you like eating fat and that slimy tissue membrane you pull off of certain cuts of meat, then you'll love pink slime. Ammonia is just another way to kill the bacteria of already contaminated meat. Color additives and brine solutions are used.

- What I find more disturbing is she worked there five years. Why didn't they find out with their pre-employment screening? I'm pretty sure they use HireRight for their background checks. They were sued by truckers and won last year for fraudulent claims on their reports.

- Then we don't need guns with that old cliche. People can throw bullets at each other. It's funny how people are one extreme or another. People have a right to own a gun. Nut cases don't. Assault weapons serve no purpose but mass casualty and attract the mentally deranged.

- Yep MTBlond, I had the exact same thing happen to me when I was 7. A long, long time ago. :) Except, I raised my hand repeatedly and the teacher kept telling me to put it down. I told the kid next to me what my problem was and he laughed.

- Sorry, one more time to clarify Ivan R. The truck by itself he wouldn't need a CDL if it was recreation. For prize money, he does need a CDL. But that's all besides the point because he was pulling a trailer that the combined weight put him over the limit.
